The Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients of all ages. This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer general and specific x-rays, following prescribed techniques and safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiology management systems and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology.
Requirements:
- Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Valid and active ARRT certification.
- AHA BLS certification.
Work Environment:
- Shift: Rotating
- On Call: No
- Weekends: Rotating
- Travel Required: No
