Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients of all ages. This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer general and specific x-rays, following prescribed techniques and safety protocols.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiology management systems and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology.

Requirements:

  • Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Valid and active ARRT certification.
  • AHA BLS certification.

Work Environment:

  • On Call: No
  • Weekends: Rotating
  • Travel Required: No
