Job Summary

As a Radiologic Student Intern, you will provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner. Your responsibilities will include preparing examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, assisting the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents, and maintaining room cleanliness and neat appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents
  • Maintain room cleanliness and neat appearance
  • Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation
  • Obtain quality radiographs of patients within the department and with all portable equipment in an acceptable timeframe
Requirements
  • Second year student status in an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • American Society of Radiologic Technology preferred
