Job Details

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled dialysis nurse to join our team on a travel contract basis.

Job Requirements
  • Specialty: Dialysis
  • Discipline: RN
  • Experience: 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • License: Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
  • Certifications: BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings), ACLS certification required (Acute setting only)
Responsibilities
  • Assess patient response to dialysis therapy
  • Make appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician
  • Assess patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings
  • Administer medications as ordered to assigned patients
  • Educate patients and families regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications
