Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison to one or more regions, providing technical support and guidance on quality assurance and contract administration.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of active construction projects and prepare associated reports.
  • Provide contract administrative support, including review and approval of time extensions, overtime dispensations, and value engineering change proposals.
  • Interpret contract documents and resolve differences in interpretation, coordinate and prepare official issuances related to specifications, construction inspection guidance, and engineering policies.
  • Provide technical trainings and presentations to various groups as needed.
  • Mentor subordinate engineers and/or technicians.
  • Participate in the review and resolution of construction contract disputes.
  • Complete special assignments as needed.
Requirements
  • A New York State Professional Engineer License and current registration.
  • A qualifying bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, construction engineering, or a related field.
  • One year of full-time qualifying engineering experience in the design and construction of parks, roads, bridges, recreational facilities, water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
