Job Summary:

The Medical Office Coordinator will work in a dynamic ambulatory setting, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our team. Key responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and register patients into the practice management system
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Communicate with insurance companies and other medical offices
Perform scanning and abstracting duties
Answer and screen office calls, make patient appointments, and take messages as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
One year of clerical/billing experience in a medical office setting preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
