Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team at Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the performance of routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sampling or testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials as directed.
  • Support field and/or laboratory personnel as needed to complete tasks.
  • Transport equipment, specimens, or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients, or other offices, and provide physical assistance in equipment set-up.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.
  • Retain information and become a self-sufficient employee.
  • Support quality policies and procedures and maintain the quality of work and the company.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures and encourage improvement through participation in near miss and safety audit programs.

Requirements:

  • No experience necessary.
  • Ability to lift 10-60 lbs. and work outside for extended periods.
  • Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Ability to pass drug and background check.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.
