The Maintenance Lead - Equipment Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the Chick-fil-A Howland restaurant. This individual will be responsible for assisting restaurant leadership in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and properly maintaining restaurant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the exterior grounds, including lawn mowing, trimming, snow plowing, and other related tasks.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Offload inventory from daily truck deliveries and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Clean and maintain the HVAC/Exhaust unit to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for customers and employees.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of all building equipment to restaurant leadership, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Operate hand and power tools to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
  • Change filters and perform boil-outs of deep fryers to maintain food safety and quality.
  • Replace interior and exterior lights to ensure a welcoming and safe environment.
  • Clean windows as needed to maintain a clean and inviting appearance.
  • Power wash concrete sidewalks and drive-thru lanes to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work mornings and some Saturdays is required.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with restaurant leadership and team members.
  • Working knowledge and acumen of machinery and equipment.
  • Able to lift heavy boxes (40 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
