The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability and a positive attitude while working collaboratively with a diverse team. This role requires proficiency in operating various lawn care machinery, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers, as well as a solid understanding of plant care techniques such as watering, fertilizing, and pruning.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and dispose of litter and debris.
- Water lawns and plants using appropriate equipment.
- Trim and prune trees and shrubs using suitable tools.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
- Maintain established lawns through various care techniques.
- Follow landscaping plans for planting and sod installation.
- Assist in the upkeep of flower beds and gardens.
- Support the installation of landscape features such as ponds and retaining walls.
- Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper functionality.
- Safely handle and store all tools and equipment.
- Provide maintenance for outdoor structures and features.
- Advise on plant selection and care for optimal growth.
- Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience is advantageous.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Frequent movement, including walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise and proximity to moving machinery.
