The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintaining a facility, including vehicle and boat maintenance, carpentry, minor electrical and grounds maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all fleet vehicles and vessels are maintained in a state of readiness for deployment at any time.
- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including applying plaster, fixing fountains, and pressure washing.
- Operate various power and hand tools, such as portable drills, clippers, and saws.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment used in grounds keeping.
- Assist with landscaping, including planting native flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
- Apply herbicides to rid grounds of unwanted weeds and grasses.
Requirements:
- High School Graduation
- 3-4 years of combined technical education, training, and/or experience in similar duties
- USAccess
- Skills required to operate and troubleshoot equipment used to perform the above tasks
- Previous knowledge and proven abilities to support facilities of similar size and scope
