About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide crucial support in delivering speech and language services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Support students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans in coordination with the supervising SLP.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
  • Contribute to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program.
  • State certification or licensure as required by regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.
