Full-TimeAmerican Commercial Barge Line is seeking a seasoned maritime professional to lead and manage our barge cleaning and repair operations. As a Senior Barge Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our inland maritime assets, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

With a strong background in barge cleaning and repair operations, you will lead a team of personnel, implementing safety protocols and work efficiently to meet project deadlines. You will also be responsible for planning and overseeing barge cleaning and repair projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control.

As a key member of our team, you will promote a culture of safety, implementing and enforcing safety procedures and regulations, conducting safety training, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all barge cleaning and repair work meets quality standards and complies with industry regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of project progress, including work hours, materials used, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations.

Collaboration with barge maintenance managers, outside contractors, and other stakeholders is essential to provide updates on project status and resolve any project-related issues. You will also implement environmental protection measures to prevent pollution and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in barge cleaning and repair operations, a valid TWIC, and a strong knowledge of barge cleaning and repair techniques, equipment, and materials. Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or foreman role is also required. Effective communication and team management skills, as well as the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects, are essential for this role.
