Job Summary

The IT Project Manager is a seasoned professional with supervisory experience in systems analysis, programming, and project management. In this role, you will work under the CEO to maintain our billing software, manage general agency software applications, provide project management, and work with both vendors and staff on software issues and updates.

This position requires a strong background in user-facing technology, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for installing and configuring software and hardware, providing technical support and training, and working on special projects to improve automation and efficiency in existing agency systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain project ownership consisting of planning, implementation, and tracking of new EHR/Billing software.
  • Manage the agency's software applications for specified departments and act as the key technical liaison between computer systems users, vendors, and Information Services.
  • Provide project management and support for computerized departmental systems and related projects.
  • Act as primary contact for all application systems problems, analyzing and documenting issues, recommending solutions, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Coordinate application enhancements to existing computer systems, including analysis, data extraction, design specifications, and coordination between vendors and clients.
  • Remain knowledgeable of operations and computer systems within the company's departments to provide comprehensive support.
  • Serve as Project Coordinator for in-house development or implementation of vendor-based automated systems.
  • Ensure that users are kept informed of all system updates and that updates are fully tested before moving to the live directory.
  • Provide training and support to users on new and existing PC applications.
  • Work on special projects to improve operating efficiency of technical/applications support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field with an emphasis of study in systems analysis.
  • Minimum two years of experience in systems analysis and/or programming required. Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve issues without detailed supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and creativity in troubleshooting software application problems.
  • Ability to maintain and modify software setup according to a department's needs; ability to extract and report data residing in software systems.
  • Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical judgment.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach. The employee must be able to lift items weighing 50 pounds or less. Satisfactory completion of a post-offer pre-employment physical exam and drug test is required.

Equipment/Machine Operations

The employee must maintain skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate the following equipment and machines used in the performance of this job:

  • Desktop and laptop computer.
  • Office equipment - including printer, scanner, fax machine, copier, etc.
  • Network servers.
  • Projection equipment.
  • Smartphones and tablets.
  • Various other equipment and supplies.
Essential Duties

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining project ownership, managing software applications, providing project management and support, and acting as primary contact for application systems problems.

The employee will also be responsible for coordinating application enhancements, remaining knowledgeable of operations and computer systems, and serving as Project Coordinator for in-house development or implementation of vendor-based automated systems.

The IT Project Manager will ensure that users are kept informed of all system updates and that updates are fully tested before moving to the live directory.

The employee will provide training and support to users on new and existing PC applications and work on special projects to improve operating efficiency of technical/applications support.

Other Duties

The IT Project Manager may be assigned special projects to improve automation and efficiency in existing agency systems.

The employee will assist the Director of Finance with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed.

The IT Project Manager will meet on-going training requirements to maintain current certifications.

Standard Requirements

The employee must complete and clear a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance.

The IT Project Manager must support the Mission and values of Indian Creek Foundation and the program.

The employee must be knowledgeable of resident rights and ensure an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all individuals served in a safe, secure environment.

The IT Project Manager must support, cooperate with, and implement specific procedures and programs for safety, confidentiality of all data, compliance with all regulatory requirements and agency policies, and demonstration of knowledge and compliance with HIPAA standards.

The employee must conduct themselves in a professional manner when representing Indian Creek Foundation.

Functions as a member of the Team

The IT Project Manager will cooperate and work together with all co-workers, plans and complete job duties with minimal direct supervision and appropriate judgment.

The employee will use tactful and appropriate communications in all situations.

The IT Project Manager will report and follow up regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns with appropriate personnel.

The employee will promote positive public relations with individuals served, family members, other team members, and community.

The IT Project Manager will complete requirements for training, acceptable attendance, dress codes including personal hygiene and other work duties as assigned.

The employee will complete all documentation to ensure compliance with all regulations and agency policies.

The IT Project Manager will exhibit behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in performance of their duties.

The employee will complete annual compliance HIPAA training and exhibit behavior as set forth by the Code of Compliance in performance of duties.
