Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team at Good Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for plumbing and HVAC installation projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery
• Work closely with managers to define project scopes, changes, and progress
• Prepare technical studies, calculations, reports, and construction specifications
• Communicate effectively with internal clients to convey project information
• Review project instructions and requirements to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with engineering design and client requirements

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and understanding of load and energy modeling calculations
• Plumbing background is a plus
