Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting. As an SLP with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address their needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions to students, using evidence-based practices to promote communication development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities and provide support for students' communication development.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Connecticut.
  • Certification: Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
