Role Overview: As a Retail Operations Leader, you will oversee the operational functions to drive sales and profitability while safeguarding our resources. Your leadership will ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store, enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in strategizing and executing store operations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies, holding the team accountable for store performance.
  • Support inventory management processes, ensuring timely and efficient stock handling.
  • Achieve performance metrics and guide your team to meet their individual goals.
  • Oversee visual merchandising standards and the execution of promotional displays.
  • Manage inventory control processes and merchandise operations.
  • Implement shrink and safety initiatives to maintain a secure environment.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture, serving as a role model for others.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance team versatility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail management and leadership.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to navigate throughout the store efficiently.
  • Regular physical activities including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and access high shelves using appropriate equipment.

Work Environment: This role is situated in a public retail setting, focusing on customer engagement. The work environment is primarily climate-controlled, with some areas that may not be. Flexibility in work hours is required, including evenings and weekends.
