Key Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Works collaboratively with healthcare providers and other clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collects and records accurate clinical data, including patient medical history, medication lists, and vital signs.
  • Performs various clinical tasks, such as phlebotomy, EKG, and point-of-care testing, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Administers medications and immunizations, and recognizes potential adverse reactions.
  • Processes lab work and medication refills, and completes patient callbacks and referrals.
Requirements
  • 1+ Years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Previous experience in family medicine is preferred
  • Previous experience using Athena EMR is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
  • Demonstrates empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and team members
