Job Summary

The Baylor Scott & White Health team is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Oncology department. As an AGACNP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
  • Prescribe and administer medical therapies and treatments, including medications and procedures.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and professional guidelines.
  • Counsel patients and families on medical processes, health management, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification from an accredited board as an APRN for the patient population of focus (Acute Care Certified).
