The Baylor Scott & White Health team is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Oncology department. As an AGACNP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
- Prescribe and administer medical therapies and treatments, including medications and procedures.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and professional guidelines.
- Counsel patients and families on medical processes, health management, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Certification from an accredited board as an APRN for the patient population of focus (Acute Care Certified).
