Position Overview

We are seeking multiple candidates with specialized knowledge in polymers and membranes.

Key expertise includes polymer synthesis (such as PBI, Polysulfones, block copolymers, and ion-containing copolymers); membrane creation and production (including bipolar membranes, interfacially polymerized thin film composites, and asymmetric membranes); proficiency in roll-to-roll membrane production; membrane evaluation (covering electrodialysis, electrochemical assessment, salt and water transport analysis, and gas permeation); and/or electrospinning techniques.

Basic Qualifications
Must be a recent PhD graduate within the last three years.

* Must fulfill educational prerequisites prior to employment commencement.

Additional Required Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication abilities; experience in laboratory management and experimental setup.

Preferred Qualifications

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)

Annual Salary Range:
$71,300 - $117,600


NREL considers a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if applicable), external market conditions, and internal pay alignment when determining salary levels for new hires.

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a candidate's salary history will not influence compensation decisions.
