Environmental Project Manager

Overview:

FPM Remediations, Inc. is actively seeking a full-time Environmental Project Manager with extensive professional experience to lead site investigation and remediation initiatives. This position entails overseeing project teams, cultivating client relationships for business growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality project results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and directing project teams.
  • Supporting business development by establishing strong client connections.
  • Preparing cost estimates, bid packages, and proposals.
  • Acting as the primary liaison with clients and subcontractors.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to meet project expectations.
  • Creating project planning documents and deliverables.
  • Leading project status meetings.
  • Providing project updates to leadership.
  • Mentoring junior team members.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Managing team workflows and schedules.
  • Training new employees.
  • Reporting to senior management.
  • Assessing team performance.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years in environmental investigation/remediation, with at least 5 years in project management.
  • A degree in environmental science or environmental engineering.
  • Experience with a variety of environmental projects.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense projects is a plus.
  • OSHA Hazwoper certification is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Professional certification or license in the relevant field.

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to pass a U.S. government investigation.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel to field sites may be necessary (10-20%).

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based role.
