Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our team at FCArchitects. As a key member of our healthcare design team, you will be responsible for managing all phases of healthcare projects, from conceptual design to construction administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage all phases of healthcare projects, including conceptual design, design development, and construction administration.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor small to large teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design Excellence: Provide final review and approval of all design elements, including code analysis, material selections, and specifications.
  • Construction Document Production: Oversee the production and management of construction documents, including BIM models.
  • Client Interface: Attend client meetings and regularly interface with clients and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are executed according to the work plan and suggest modifications when necessary.
  • Quality Control: Implement methods for improving the quality of documentation and share knowledge with junior staff to mitigate risk.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • Registration: Registered or working toward registration as an architect.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in an architecture office, with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare design.
  • Skills: Familiarity with AHCA regulations, advanced skills in Revit, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp.
  • Personal Qualities: Proven ability to lead, communicate effectively, and possess sound judgment.
