Job Title: Senior Architect and Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect and Project Manager to lead our architectural project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall management direction for existing or new projects
  • Supervise team members and establish project budgets, objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Construction Manager
  • Represent the company in project meetings and assist in strategy meetings
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including fee payment, rental equipment, income, and expenses
  • Direct project team, ensure client compliance with contract terms, and monitor sub-consultants' compliance with contractual commitments
  • Meet with clients to direct project requirements and obtain all information to prepare project documents
  • Prepare project work plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor/manage project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives
  • Monitor reports and schedules to ensure appropriate charging of man-hours, costs, and expenses to projects, and communicate project progress/status to senior management
  • Monitor sub-consultants' progress and performance, schedule and coordinate project meetings with the project team, regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved with the project
  • Coordinate and participate in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promote the company's capabilities and marketing its services among existing and prospective clients
  • Supervise technical professionals and design staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture required
  • Must have Architectural or NCARB registration
  • ~10+ years of experience in Architectural project management
  • ~ Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup 5+ years
  • ~ Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ~ Ability to manage projects within established budgets
  • ~ Available for limited travel, overtime, and weekend work as required to meet training and project requirements/deadlines
  • ~ Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
