About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Architect/Project Manager to join our team at Actalent. As an Architect/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, including theme parks, hospitality, and airports. You will provide overall management direction for existing and new projects, supervise team members, and establish project budgets, objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall management direction for existing and new projects
  • Supervise team members
  • Establish project budgets, objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with clients and A/E contracts to facilitate construction activities
  • Monitor/control construction through the administrative direction of the on-site Construction Manager
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts
  • Direct project team, ensure client compliance with contract terms, and monitor sub-consultants' compliance with contractual commitments
  • Meet with clients to direct project requirements and obtain all information to prepare project documents
  • Prepare project work plan, schedule, and budget, and communicate these to project team members
  • Monitor reports and schedules to ensure appropriate charging of man-hours, costs, and expenses to projects
  • Monitor sub-consultants' progress and performance; review and approve sub-consultant and vendor invoices
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings with the project team, regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved with the project
  • Coordinate and participate in project presentations to clients and other external groups
  • Supervise technical professionals and design staff

Requirements:

  • Must have, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; Master's Degree a plus
  • Must have Architectural or NCARB registration (preferably Florida, or the ability to obtain Florida registration quickly)
  • 10+ years of experience in Architectural project management
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup 5+ years
  • Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
