Position Summary:


We are embarking on a transformative initiative to implement S/4 HANA (ERP) aimed at streamlining the client's technical landscape, emphasizing core competencies, and standardizing operational workflows.

The current focus of this ERP initiative is on the enhancement of Financial and Direct Procurement processes.

This request pertains to a Technical Lead role that will oversee VMware Tanzu (Tanzu = Pivotal Cloud Foundry / PCF) within this ERP project.


Essential Skills:
Systems Architecture - establishing and designing comprehensive enterprise infrastructure
Application Architecture - crafting microservices adhering to 12-factor app principles
TANZU (Tanzu = PCF / Pivotal Cloud Foundry) management
Cloud Solutions Architecture with Tanzu TAS (previously Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) in AWS/GCP/on-premises)
DevOps practices within an Agile development environment
Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, JavaScript, JSON, and REST API/SOPA UI/Web Services/API development
CI/CD methodologies
Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) (preferably GCP)
Network ingress and egress strategies
Deployment of APIs, utilization of Apigee, and troubleshooting within the Apigee Proxy framework

Cloud Computing Expertise:

Proficient in virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service cloud delivery models, along with an understanding of the current competitive landscape.

Knowledge of data migration practices and technologies

Preferred Skills:


Ability to conceptualize the overarching vision, identify patterns and interdependencies in complex projects, and deconstruct intricate systems into fundamental components.

Demonstrated capability to foster collaboration across various IT and business units
Exceptional organizational skills
Work in conjunction with business stakeholders, IT, and implementation partners to effectively execute ERP initiatives within defined parameters

Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years in developing VMware Tanzu (Tanzu = Pivotal Cloud Foundry / PCF)

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree

This role operates in a hybrid model, with regular team meetings.
