JOB SUMMARY FOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT:

  • We are looking for a Solutions Architect to spearhead the integration of mainframe systems for our automotive client.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT:

  • Oversee the enhancement and maintenance of the SOLMIS mainframe application, ensuring its integration with various EDI hubs and applications that support supply chain operations.
  • Engage with global trading partners and internal teams, presenting insights and updates to senior management.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, documentation, and design of mainframe components within SOLMIS.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development, design, and analysis of mainframe applications, including both IMS Online and Batch.
  • Proficient in IBM Mainframe technologies, including MVS, COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, and others.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain processes, particularly with EDI transactions.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as MQ, SFTP, and FTPS.
  • Strong background in writing complex queries and coding IMS Online and batch programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
