Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) collaborates with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high patient satisfaction. This role involves performing comprehensive medical assessments, ordering diagnostic studies, and formulating medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities
* Perform thorough health histories, review patient records, and develop detailed medical assessments
* Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as necessary
* Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, institute therapy or referrals, and provide emergency treatment when needed
* Interpret patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment
* Provide instructions and guidance on healthcare and health promotion to patients and their families

Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and family
* Professional appearance and attitude
* ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred)
* Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate (as required)
* Ability to multi-task and work independently
