Maintenance Supervisor 3rd Shift

Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our Fort Smith, AR location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services
Requirements:
  • 1-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Working Conditions:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually loud.
