Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior ITS Traffic Project Manager to join our team in Iselin, NJ, New York City, NY, or Philadelphia, PA, to lead and work on various NJDOT ITS and Traffic Engineering projects.
About the RoleThe Senior ITS Traffic Project Manager will apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage ITS and Traffic projects on a variety of transportation projects, including production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, marketing assistance, and financial management.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with NJ DOT ITS Traffic Projects, expertise in the Design and Testing of a Completed and Operational ITS System, including DMS, CSS, CTSS, and Traffic Detectors, and experience with Testing and Acceptance Specifications necessary for a completely verified ITS implementation.
The Senior ITS Traffic Project Manager will also have experience with ITS Architectures & Systems Engineering Process, Data and Video Communications Networks and Systems Integration, including Fiber and Wireless Systems, and Design, Deployment & Operation of ITS Technologies.
The role requires a BS and/or MS in Engineering, a New Jersey PE License, 8-10 years of engineering experience, and highway/roadway design and project management experience.
