Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical CADD Designer to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce designs and documentation using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Document parts and bills of materials.
  • Understand and adhere to design and drafting standard practices.
  • Work from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches.
  • Responsible for completion of assignments, detects and corrects own errors.
  • Maintain competency level of CAD software and other applications through company-provided training and materials.
  • Must be customer-driven and quality-minded in performance of all assigned duties.
  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in electrical or electronic design from an accredited technical school or a minimum of three (3) years of Trane or Climate Solutions practical experience with acceptable references.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, CREO experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel, expected travel time ~ 5%.
