Job Summary and Responsibilities

EVRAZ North America seeking a Production Supervisor for our Seamless Mill located in Pueblo, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to lead dynamic teams, foster innovation, and drive efficiency in our production line. As a key player within our company, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including quality assurance and safety, to maintain high standards and meet production targets.
  • Perform daily mill inspections with an eye for safety and productivity issues, coordinate with mill support groups to design and implement countermeasures
  • Conduct shift safety meetings and daily tool box talks, train employees on safe work practices, and conduct daily safe job observations
  • Use LEAN tools from the EVRAZ Business System engage employees to continuously improve mill operations
  • Schedule and maintain shift manpower for mill operations and training
  • Responsible for managing an operational and quality team during manufacturing operations and while performing operational maintenance of mechanical equipment including; hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Supervise the Seamless Mill Quality Assurance Inspectors
  • Maintain necessary inventory of mill supplies, interface with storehouse and vendors as needed for resupply and trials
  • Maintain and correct electronic and written records including; shift performance, heat traceability, and quality assurance
  • Maintain KRONOS Pay System by reviewing, editing, and approving employee time cards daily
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of the collective bargaining agreements and applicable company policies
  • Write and issue Improvement Action Reports (IARs) as needed per company policy


Requirements
  • Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent experience
  • Three years of industrial supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
  • Previous experience using Oracle
  • Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to organize and motivate production teams for safe, high-quality results and maximum productivity
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify areas, propose and initiate solutions
  • Comfortable working a rotating (days and nights) schedule, as well as holidays and weekends as needed


Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000

Open & Closing Dates: 11/05/2024 - 12/31/2024
