Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, train, and mentor lower-level managers to ensure the success of our multifamily portfolio.
  • Implement company policies and procedures using our handbook and operations manual.
  • Develop internal controls for properties under management to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgeting for each property to ensure financial stability.
  • Direct monthly and quarterly financial reports to our in-house team and outside investors.
  • Prepare and review monthly/quarterly bonuses and commissions to ensure fair compensation.
  • Interface with Asset Manager and Ownership to ensure alignment of interests.
  • Manage Contractor/Service Provider relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
  • Oversee new property lease-ups to ensure timely and efficient occupancy.
  • Oversee Work Order systems at project level to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
  • Ensure marketing plans for each property are implemented to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Provide feedback to continually improve company processes, policies, and products.
  • Review and analyze market data to identify emerging trends that may impact our portfolio and develop market plans to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of multifamily property management experience.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Working knowledge of RealPage, Onesite, Yardi, and other multifamily software.
  • Experience managing Class A initial lease-up as well as Class B and C renovation projects.
  • Experience with HUD loans and affordable housing a plus.
  • Intimate knowledge of social networking and marketing skills for Class A, B, and C assets.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to properties.
