Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst of Source Performance is responsible for enabling the examination of GEOINT collection performance metrics to support comprehensive GEOINT architecture evaluations. This role involves formulating recommendations aimed at enhancing the efficiency of GEOINT collection methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish new performance indicators and calculation methods to adapt to changing collection strategies.
  • Assess the impact of GEOINT collection by scrutinizing advancements in the current remote sensing constellation.
  • Produce detailed performance analysis reports, execute trend evaluations, and assess the collection efficacy of all geospatial data providers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in modeling diverse systems using advanced mathematical principles.
  • Expertise in evaluating GEOINT collection strategies and overall GEOINT Enterprise performance to suggest enhancements based on data from both established and emerging GEOINT data sources.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with querying GEOINT performance data and developing tailored data queries and visualizations to fulfill and anticipate client needs.
  • Understanding of scripting for data analysis tasks and advanced analytical processes.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to create new metrics and advanced analytical techniques for measuring multi-source GEOINT satisfaction and performance.
  • Familiarity with GEOINT collection management tools that assist collection managers in characterizing the current remote sensing constellation, including sensor orbits and tasking specifics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of traditional end-to-end (E2E) GEOINT sources, including airborne and commercial sources, along with the GEOINT TCPED process and lifecycle of requirements and strategies.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of analytical experience, Bachelor's degree with 7+ years, Master's degree with 5+ years, or Doctorate with 2+ years of experience in analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with tools such as Map of the World, ArcGIS, Google Earth, or similar applications.
  • Background as a GEOINT analyst specializing in imagery or geospatial analysis or as a GEOINT source strategies analyst.
  • Experience leading a team of data scientists in conducting trend studies and evaluating GEOINT collection performance across multi-source geospatial data.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Hadoop, HUE, Hive, Pig, Spark, Elasticsearch, or Kibana.
  • Experience with GIMS, Web FishTools, or yODA/MTD.
  • Ability to create, modify, and assess the technical accuracy of presentation materials, visual aids, and graphics.
  • Certification in Geospatial-Intelligence Proficiency Level-I (GPC-I) is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Structure:

Compensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 annually.
