RN - Clinical Coordinator

Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN - Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our vascular lab operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business and clinical operations for multiple physicians and staff. Key Responsibilities- Oversee the overall operations of the office-based vascular lab, ensuring seamless coordination of staff and resources.
- Interview, hire, and supervise office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Assess, plan, implement, and monitor budget activities for the office-based vascular lab, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
- Responsible for the evaluation of staff performance, conducting regular staff meetings, and providing ongoing feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee the orientation and training of new employees, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Plan, develop, and implement standards to ensure quality of care in the office-based vascular lab, adhering to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Manage accounts receivables and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
- Oversee coding and billing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate staff and doctor work schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing downtime.
- Develop policies and procedures as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with outside vendors and other hospital departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Manage scheduling of vascular procedures, coordinating with other departments to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing ongoing feedback and professional development opportunities to staff.
- Ensure that all vascular procedures meet established quality standards and protocols, adhering to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to industry standards.
- Implement and oversee infection control practices and safety measures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Address patient concerns and resolve any issues related to vascular services provided, ensuring exceptional patient satisfaction.
- Ensure that all vascular diagnostic equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and updated, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
- Stay current with advancements in vascular technology, recommending upgrades or new equipment as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Prepare for and participate in accreditation surveys and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or BSN
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- BLS/ACLS training required and accepted from the American Heart Association. No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience preferred
- Independent individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, physicians, outside agencies, and other hospital staff.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Strong computer skills a must.
- Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Record, radiology scheduling, and insurance authorization.
USD $60.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
