Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Communication Disorders Specialist to join our team at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with patients and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve communication skills and swallowing function.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities and develop targeted interventions to address deficits
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing and treating adults and children with communication disorders
  • Licensure from Iowa Department of Public Health and certification from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) are desirable

Compensation:

  • Estimated annual salary: $73,000 - $93,000
