Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, educating them on kidney disease and dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical and mental ability to work on your feet for extended periods
