About the Role

Central Electric Cooperative is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing residential and commercial HVAC systems, designing and installing ductwork, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, Maintain, and Repair HVAC Systems: Ensure that all HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently, making any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Design and Install Ductwork: Design and install ductwork for residential and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Perform Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve HVAC issues through thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Safely Operate Equipment: Safely operate equipment such as sheet metal shears, brakes, punch press, cutoff saws, and other tools necessary for the job.
  • Collaborate with Team Members and Clients: Work closely with team members and clients to achieve project goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Technical Training or Experience: 1-year technical training or a minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC systems.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid South Dakota driver's license.
  • Attention to Detail and Commitment to Safety: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in the workplace.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
