We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our Maintenance Division at Carowinds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various painting and wallpapering applications to our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply paints and stain coatings to wood, metal, plaster, or other surfaces using brush, roller, or spray techniques.
  • Remove old paint coatings and prepare surfaces as necessary to accept new coatings.
  • Mix and match paint colors for accuracy as required.
  • Paint rides and structural elements to meet ride maintenance guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional guest service according to Cedar Fair standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas.
  • Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements.
  • Adhere to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Driver's license required.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Ability to work various shifts and days.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
