This role requires a hands-on leader with over 7 years of experience in backend Microsoft technologies, including O365, Microsoft Exchange, and Intune. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of cloud-based infrastructures, risk management, and email security protocols.

The selected candidate will oversee a team of engineers dedicated to the administration and support of critical services such as Microsoft O365, Microsoft Exchange, and video conferencing solutions. Strong leadership skills are essential to ensure operational efficiency, security, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
  • Formulate both short-term and long-term strategies in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Design and implement secure and effective strategies for utilizing Microsoft O365, Exchange, Intune, and conferencing technologies.
  • Manage the planning, deployment, and administration of cloud-based IT systems, ensuring peak performance and security.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with vendors to align their offerings with organizational requirements.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Oversee technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to enhance end-user technology experiences.
  • Collaborate with team members to pinpoint process inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Assess the impact of process changes on risks and controls.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and security within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Experience in managing email security systems, email flow design, and retention policies.
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments (2012R2, 2016, and 2019).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in managing Microsoft environments.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience with Microsoft Exchange and Group Policy.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft O365 and Intune.
