Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Casualty Customer Service Representative to join our team at Brown & Brown Insurance. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to policy questions, coverage changes, new policies, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, billing, and payments.
  • Proactively seek referrals from current customers to solicit new business and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by being responsive, empathetic, and knowledgeable.
  • Document renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance documents into our agency management systems.
  • Attend internal and client meetings as needed.
  • Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude in the department and office.
  • Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal and external performance standards.
  • Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology.
Requirements
  • Property & Casualty Producer Insurance License in good standing.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial property, general liability, auto liability, workers compensation, and umbrella liability coverages.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Experience handling commercial account renewals, service needs, and customer escalations.
  • Experience handling policy endorsement requests, certificates of insurance, and Auto IDs.
  • Experience handling payments or billing questions.
