Operational Excellence

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, procedures, policies, and relevant regulatory compliance issues related to daily operations.
  • Enhances relationships with both new and existing clients by identifying their financial needs and making appropriate referrals to colleagues and departments to ensure comprehensive service.
  • Consistently meets performance targets while actively promoting products and services to enhance customer awareness and add value.
  • Engages in all bank-wide incentive programs and business development initiatives.
  • Provides customer service by processing a variety of transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing loan payments, and maintaining logs for deposits.
  • Issues official checks and money orders, processes coin transactions, and orders customer checks in accordance with bank policies, ensuring appropriate fees are applied.
  • Verifies all transactions, places holds when necessary, and balances the cash drawer at the end of each shift to ensure compliance.
  • Opens new consumer and business accounts, as well as Certificates of Deposit, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and entered into the system.
  • Assists with ATM-related inquiries and daily balancing procedures.
  • Aids in the verification of incoming and outgoing cash shipments.
  • Ensures security by managing the opening and closing of the bank and vault, maintaining the overall safety of the bank premises.
  • Upholds customer confidentiality and the retention of bank documents in line with established policies.

  • Participates in community engagement activities to enhance and promote the bank's image.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a banking or customer service environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and comfortable using internet-based applications.
  • Basic mathematical skills and aptitude for cash handling.
  • Strong customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
