Environmental Specialist

Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations, ensuring adherence to air, water, and waste management standards.
  • Manage Title V permits and compliance, ensuring seamless interactions with regulatory agencies.
  • Oversee Stormwater and Wastewater Systems, implementing effective management strategies to prevent non-compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement waste regulation strategies, addressing Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste management.
  • Identify and address non-compliance issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with local, state, and federal environmental agencies, preparing permits, applications, and regulatory plans, as well as conducting inspections and notifications.
  • Provide regular compliance reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support HSEQ personnel in preparing monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of EHS experience in an industrial setting, with a strong understanding of state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Proven experience with continuous emissions monitoring systems, spill prevention control and countermeasure, stormwater pollution prevention, waste management, wastewater, and air compliance programs.
  • Excellent communication, organization, management, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of capital projects and their impact on environmental compliance.
