Job Opportunity: Senior Laboratory Technician (Micro)

The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Technician to support the company's plants and R&D with microbiological testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microbiological testing and reporting to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Develop and implement laboratory projects to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless testing and reporting processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in microbiology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Strong chemistry and mathematics background.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of laboratory software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
