Key Responsibilities
  • Building Systems Management: Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and automation systems.
  • Monitor and Optimize Energy Consumption: Ensure efficient operations by monitoring and optimizing energy consumption.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, building codes, and cannabis industry standards.
  • Automation Systems: Manage and optimize the performance of the facility's automation systems, including environmental controls, lighting systems, and irrigation systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and oversee building renovation and expansion projects.
  • Staff Management: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in building engineering or facilities management, preferably in a controlled environment or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems.
  • Experience with building automation systems and controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
