Responsibilities:

* Prepare cash receipt processing and daily bank analysis
* Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries for various transactions, reviewing GL detail, and understanding the impact of transactions on reports
* Understand GL processes and prepare account reconciliations for various asset and liability accounts, including cash, fixed assets, prepaid assets, and payroll liabilities
* Collaborate with others within the team and the larger finance organization on special projects
* Identify potential areas of improvement and work with the team to create solutions
* Provide support for audit activities, including pulling data and reports

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
* Experience in Microsoft Excel
* 1-2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Deltek Costpoint or Unanet accounting system experience
* Experience in accounting-related positions in government contracting
