Maintenance Porter/Cleaner Role Overview

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $22-$26 per hour, based on industry standards and the location of Redmond, WA. The starting salary for new hires is $22-$23.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Porter/Cleaner to join our team at The Spoke in Redmond, WA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning support to our residents and properties.

  • Cleaning interiors of buildings, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, glass-doors & windows, and floors.
  • Cleaning the exterior of buildings, which includes sidewalks, walkways, driveways, garages, flowerbeds, and glass-doors & windows.
  • Disposing of trash & recyclable items.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have some knowledge of job tools such as cleaning tools and solutions. You must also be able to work well in a team as well as individually, follow directions, communicate real-time issues with your assigned buildings, and follow a set schedule while adapting to changes in that schedule. Additionally, you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and vehicle liability insurance. You should also be able to perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Some knowledge of job tools such as cleaning tools and solutions.
