Position Summary: Charlestown Landscaping is on the lookout for a driven and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Commercial Landscape Sales Representative. This role involves selling a comprehensive range of landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree services, facility repairs, and snow removal solutions to our commercial clientele. The ideal candidate will have a solid sales background, extensive knowledge of the landscaping sector, and the capability to effectively communicate and foster relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development: Actively seek and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial landscape sector by generating leads, networking, and prospecting potential clients. Build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.

2. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing commercial clients, understanding their unique landscaping needs. Deliver exceptional customer service, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

3. Needs Assessment and Proposal Development: Conduct thorough assessments of commercial properties to understand clients' landscape maintenance, enhancement, tree service, facility repair, and snow removal requirements. Create customized proposals that align with client needs and company capabilities.

4. Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Present compelling sales pitches to clients, effectively highlighting the advantages of our landscape services. Collaborate with clients to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.

5. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional landscape services to existing clients. Continuously seek ways to expand service offerings and enhance revenue streams.

6. Collaboration with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and successful project completion. Provide clear instructions to meet client expectations.

7. Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and technological advancements in landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree services, facility repairs, and snow removal. Utilize this knowledge to improve service offerings and sales strategies.

8. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts. Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in sales, particularly within the commercial landscape industry, including maintenance, enhancements, tree services, facility repairs, and snow removal.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial landscape practices and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships.
  • Strong business acumen to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
