The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a board certified cardiologist and board certified/board eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease to provide comprehensive care in the inpatient and outpatient setting for adults with congenital heart disease regardless of severity of illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to provide patient care.
- Participate in outreach clinics and in research and educational activities related to ACHD.
- Assist in the development of an ACHD fellowship.
Requirements:
- Board certified cardiologist and board certified/board eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
- Clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for an academic appointment.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia.
