Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessments, goal setting, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in the state of New Mexico.
  • 1 year of recent experience as a COTA in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
