  4. Organize and store folded linens in the appropriate areas.
  5. Keep the designated work area clean and safe at all times.
  6. Report any equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or damaged linens to the Supervisor/Manager to maintain operational efficiency.
  7. Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following abilities:

  • Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver heavy objects.
  • Comprehension of basic instructions.
  • Prior experience in laundry operations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in a language understood by colleagues and guests.
  • Capability to operate industrial laundry machinery.
  • Adherence to safety standards and proper chemical usage.
  • Willingness to learn and apply simple procedures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting of up to 75 lbs of linens, pushing and pulling similar weights, and carrying up to 50 lbs during the shift. The role involves bending frequently while managing laundry tasks.

Work Environment: Primarily indoors, with protection from weather elements but subject to temperature variations.

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills for adding and subtracting.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions at a minimum level.
