We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at The LiRo Group. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electrical power systems, including power distribution, control, and lighting systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
  • Electrical system analysis and calculations
  • Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
  • Design of fire alarm systems and low voltage systems
  • Service room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding and lighting protection
  • Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports
  • Electrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists
  • Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 years of relevant design experience
  • PE License in New York required
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task on several projects at once
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively collaborate during the design and construction process
