Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in hematology and oncology.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Graduate of an accredited licensed vocational nursing program.
- Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of experience in a critical care area, preferably in hematology or oncology.
